Privacy & Mobile Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy says what we collect, why, and who sees it. We kept it pithy on purpose.

What We Collect

Class registrations. When you reserve a spot in class, we collect your first name, last name, email address, mobile phone number, and your acceptance of the Yoga Participation and Liability Release (including the date, time, and IP address when you check the box).

Payments. Checkout is handled directly by Stripe using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or your card. We never see or store your credit card or bank account numbers.

Phone calls, texts, and emails. When you call, text, or email us at 407-366-3637 or jean@jeanscottyoga.com, we keep the messages and call records so we can follow up with you.

How We Use It

We use your information to reserve your spot on the class roster, send your confirmation receipt, and notify you if weather or a holiday affects class at Riverside Park.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone. Jean Scott Yoga is a service of Jean Ann Scott, LLC, which also operates Jean Scott Homes. Registering for a yoga class will never place you on a real estate marketing list unless you ask Jean for real estate assistance.

Who Sees It

Only Jean Scott and the team members at Jean Ann Scott, LLC who help run Jean Scott Yoga, on a minimum necessary basis.

Services That Run Jean Scott Yoga

Cloudflare — Provides security, hosting, and encrypted database storage for our website and class roster. (Cloudflare Privacy Policy)

Stripe — Processes class payments via Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit or debit cards. (Stripe Privacy Policy)

Mobile Text Messaging

We text you only when you contact us or register for a class (such as booking confirmations or weather updates for Riverside Park). Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or reply HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in consent, or personal information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

How We Protect It & Your Rights

All systems require sign-in with a biometric passkey or multi-factor authentication, and all data is encrypted in storage and in transit. We keep registration, waiver, and accounting records as required by Florida law.

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we have about you, correct or delete it (except records we are required by law to retain), or stop contacting you. Our website is for adults 18 and older, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

  4. Emergency Care: In the event of injury or illness, I consent to necessary first aid or medical treatment.
